What do you think of the bailout plan?

Just curious...what does everyone out there think of the bailout plan? Wise? Silly? Effective? Ineffective?

There probably isn't a right or wrong answer. Thought it would be interesting to hear what everyone thinks.

My only issue is hoping that there is regulation on how the money goes out and making sure it is used correctly. We can't let the ecomony fall and something needs done, but we can't just give out billions of dollars without controlling who has it and what they do with it.

It should be interesting to see what the House does with the new plan.

My only issue is that it's nearly impossible for me to find anything online with all the details of the new plan. I wish there was somewhere all of us taxpayers could go to get the "executive summary" of the now-enormously-long document. It's hard to know how much to pester the lawmakers when I can't even find out the details on the new version.

Here's hoping Paulson and some others know a lot more than us average joe americans.
